When Lola met Chocolate Bunny - A Hop Lola Hop Easter Special #2
… So last time Lola’s chance encounter with a chocolate bunny led to quite a mess on the supermarket floor.
The following is a short poem I wrote, which brings to conclusion the rendez-vous between those two very different type of bunnies.
Lola Easter Special #2 :
‚A few weeks later, it was around the time of Easter, one silent specimen suddenly appeared at Lola and Emma’s house.
He sat in a basket filled with lots of colorful chocolate eggs. There was also a letter – it was for LOLA!
Dear Lola,
I know my silence caused you worry
So I’m glad that once again we meet.
I wanted to say I’m truly sorry,
Am actually really nice and do taste rather sweet.
Little Lola, I know you love adventures
Who doesn’t - they truly can be such a joy.
But remember to be mindful - and not get lost,
Because for Ella you are not just a simple toy.
Your absence can cause her quite a fright,
That much I know! – she wonders if you’re fine.
So next time you hop off on an adventure
remember to be careful – and importantly- to get home on time.
Sweet Lola, I know you too care deeply,
For such friendship is a toy bunny’s greatest joy in life.
So hurry up – someone’s already waiting, to shower you with love and affection –
in form of cuddles every night.
