Hop Lola Hop at the Emirates Airlines Festival of Literature

There’s always time and room for stories wherever you go.

My experience of the 2023 Emirates LitFest has been one filled with memories of many firsts !!!

Being invited as an author … at a literature festival …well, that was a first for me.

It was the first time I had judged a letter writing competition. I am so proud of all the children who submitted their letters to the RGS Guildford Letter Writing Competition. Little Karim was a worthy winner in the 8-10 years old category.

Reading my new book ‘Hop Lola Hop - A Yummy Market Day Adventure’ - that was another first.

And then there was Sunday.

It was FULL HOUSE for our very first theatrical performance of Hop Lola Hop - where our toy bunny jumped out of the pages of her book and on the stage to entertain parents, children and their teddies in an entirely different way. —
